🕊️ Communion Sunday Reflections

Today, our hearts are full as we reflect on a sacred Communion Sunday and the powerful Rhema Word delivered by Rev. Latasha Gary. Her message reminded us that even in seasons of trial and transition, God’s promises never fail.

This has been a month overflowing with blessings, the Rainbow Tea, the Consecration of our Deaconesses, our Church Fish Fry, and so much more. Through joy and through pain, through triumph and tribulation, Jonahville continues to press forward in faith.

Rev. Gary’s word came from Ephesians 1:3–4, declaring that:

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”

She reminded us that God has already given us everything we need. Every spiritual blessing has been made available, already released, already promised, already ours through Christ Jesus. What God has ordained cannot be purchased, for the price was already paid at Calvary. There is no blessing that does not yield good, and there is nothing withheld from those who trust in Him.

Even as Paul wrote from prison, he spoke of abundance, not lack, blessing, not despair. So we too declare with confidence:

✨ “I already have everything I need.”

Though it may not yet be visible in the natural, it is already released in the spiritual. Our faith unlocks what has been divinely set aside for us.

A Word of Thanksgiving

We give thanks and honor to our Pastor, the Reverend Mark A. Evans, for his steadfast leadership, his unshakable faith, and his example of integrity and humility. Truly, he walks what he talks. His dedication to God’s people and his unwavering commitment to the Word continue to inspire and strengthen the Jonahville family.

May God continue to bless Pastor Evans with divine wisdom, renewed strength, and overflowing joy as he shepherds this house with love and grace.
