Growing Together - Our Package of Faith

At Jonahville, we believe faith is not a straight line, it’s a journey. Sometimes it’s quiet, sometimes it’s stretching, and sometimes it’s filled with questions we didn’t even know we had. And that’s not a weakness. That’s growth.
As we move into 2026, we’re excited to embrace something beautiful happening in our faith family. Shar’ Ron BeDea Jones is beginning a new Bible conversation on Facebook, and we want to wrap her in love, encouragement, and support as she steps out in obedience and curiosity. With the guidance of Pastor Mark A. Evans, we build upon this mantle.
Shar’Ron is studying the Bible in chronological order, and like many of us who have slowed down enough to really read the Word, she’s discovering something powerful: the Bible doesn’t just give answers, it invites us to ask. This does not deflect from our awesome Wednesday Bible study or our weekly prayer calls but this is a package of Faith.
This series isn’t about having all the theology perfected.
It’s about seeking.
It’s about understanding.
It’s about growing in community instead of isolation.
And Jonahville, that’s who we are.
A Safe Space to Ask
Faith is not threatened by questions. In fact, Scripture is filled with people who asked God “why,” “how,” and “what does this mean?”
Shar’ Ron’s first discussion comes from the very beginning, Genesis. When God says, “Let US make mankind in our image,” it opens a door to thoughtful conversation. Who is “us”? What does that mean? Why does it matter?
These are not questions of doubt.
They are questions of depth.
And as a church family, we create space where learning can happen without judgment and conversation can happen with grace.
Covering Her in Love
Starting something new takes courage. It means being willing to say, “I’m still learning too.” That kind of humility strengthens the body of Christ.
So as Shar’ Ron leads this weekly conversation, we do what families do:
We cover her in prayer.
We encourage her voice.
We participate with open hearts.
Not to critique.
Not to compete.
But to grow together.
2026: A Year of Spiritual Maturity
This year isn’t just about church attendance, it’s about spiritual development. It’s about moving from surface-level faith to deeper understanding, stronger connection, and richer conversations about God’s Word.
We don’t all have to agree on every detail to walk in unity. Love, respect, and humility hold us together while we learn.
So Jonahville, let’s lean in.
Let’s listen.
Let’s share.
And most of all, let’s grow.
Because when one of us steps forward in faith, we move forward together.
Father God we are believing this will transcend into a Podcast for Jonahville.
In the Name of Jesus.
