It Was Not Her Service — It Was Her Posture

For Jonahville
Martha was not wrong for serving.
She was wrong for serving troubled.
Scripture says:
“Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things.” — Luke 10:41
She was busy.
She was responsible.
She was working.
But her heart was restless.
Service is holy.
But service without peace becomes pressure.
Service without presence becomes performance.
Mary sat at His feet.
Martha moved around the room.
And Jesus did not rebuke the work.
He corrected the posture.
Jonahville, this is our word:
It is not the ministry that exhausts us.
It is the mindset.
It is not the giving that drains us.
It is the comparison.
It is not the responsibility that burdens us.
It is the anxiety.
Before we move, we must sit.
Before we serve, we must surrender.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Check your posture.
Serve from peace.
