Press Your Way Through

Life has a way of testing us. Trials don’t send an announcement before they arrive, they just show up. But as the great Bishop Paul S. Morton once declared, you must Press Your Way Through. The Word of God reminds us that “we are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair” (2 Corinthians 4:8, NIV). In every circumstance, the answer is the same: Press Your Way Through.

When You Can’t Pay the Bills

The stack of bills may be higher than the balance in your account. Worry and stress may try to consume your peace. But remember, Jehovah Jireh is your provider. Press into prayer, press into faith, and press into His promises. Your lack does not define your destiny. Press Your Way Through.

When the Job Lays You Off

A pink slip may have ended your paycheck, but it cannot end your purpose. God opens doors no man can shut. Losing one opportunity only makes room for the greater one He has prepared. Hold your head high and trust Him. Press Your Way Through.

When There’s Turmoil with Family

Even in the household, conflict can arise. Misunderstandings, broken trust, and hurtful words can shake your foundation. But love covers a multitude of sins. Pray without ceasing and keep forgiving. Peace is possible when you refuse to give up. Press Your Way Through.

When Your Health Is Not So Good

The doctor’s report may not sound good, and your body may be weak. But healing still belongs to the children of God. By His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Even if strength feels far away, hold on to your faith. Press Your Way Through.

When Your Loved One Dies

There is no pain like the sting of loss. The tears flow, and the grief feels unbearable. Yet the same God who gives life also gives comfort. He promised to be near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). In the valley of sorrow, lean on His everlasting arms. Press Your Way Through.

Keep Pressing

Pressing your way through doesn’t mean the storm disappears overnight. It means you refuse to stop, refuse to quit, and refuse to let the enemy steal your faith. Jonahville, this is your call to action: keep praying, keep worshiping, keep trusting.

Because on the other side of the press is your breakthrough. On the other side of the struggle is your testimony. And when you come out, you will declare: “If it had not been the Lord who was on my side…” (Psalm 124:1).

So no matter what comes, financial struggle, job loss, family turmoil, sickness, or grief, always remember: Press Your Way Through!
