America is breaking before our eyes. Not just politically, not just economically, but spiritually. The SNAP benefits that once fed the hungry are suspended, healthcare will soon climb to astronomical levels, ICE has stripped due process from human beings, and our National Guard patrols the streets like soldiers at war with their own people. Books are banned, women’s rights erased, and Black women, those who have carried the moral backbone of this nation are being targeted, silenced, and dismissed.
Meanwhile, those in power buy planes and build ballrooms while “We the People” sink. We are living in one of our lowest eras, but faith has always been born out of brokenness.
So, what do we do?
We stand together.
We pray more.
We organize.
We feed the hungry, protect the widow, and educate the next generation, even when the system fails us.
Faith leaders, this is not the time for silence or comfort. This is the time for conviction. The church must return to being the refuge of truth and justice. We must build coalitions that transcend denomination, race, and politics because our survival depends on unity.
We can no longer wait for political saviors. We must become the movement through love, service, and holy defiance.
America may be broken, but our faith is unshakable. And when faith leads, freedom follows.
